Designer of the Mexican high fashion brand ENAMORAMEX by Ancheita, as well as ATELIER ANCHEITA & designers, a brand of wedding and xv years dresses.
She comes from a family of women dressmakers, teachers and fashion entrepreneurs, she won painting competitions at her school from the age of 7, her great passion was always painting, she inherited the talent of her mother and grandmother, learning to sew at the age of 12. years.
Its brand ENAMORAMEX unites Italian elegance with Mexican culture and promotes Mexico's roots in the world, collaborating with artisans who suffer discrimination, exploitation and extreme poverty in Latin America. The brand is the result of a mix between fashion, art and history.
Mila Since the beginning of her university career, she has won relevant fashion competitions such as CREAMODA, which took her to Paris and Venice, subsequently winning other international competitions such as the MUESTRA DE MODA MEXICANA in Spain and the INTERNATIONAL FASHION FESTIVAL in Italy.
Their works have been paraded in renowned events such as: LEMANS FASHION SHOW in France, in Italy; the ALTA ROMA, the CMIV in Venice and the FASHION LEADER in Mexico City. Likewise, she has exhibited at international cultural fairs such as: LÀRTIGIANO IN FIERA invited by the Mexican consulate in Millán Italy, catwalks at the Mexican embassy in Rome Italy and has been presented at business fairs such as INTERMODA in Mexico among others in the USA and Spain. .
Ancheia has been commissioned as a trainer in Paraguay for a sustainable project created by the INSTITUTO LATINO AMERICANO based in Italy, for the training of Paraguayan artisans and designers.
Mila Ancheita was curator of the fashion area of the FRIDA KALHO IL CAOS DENTRO exhibition that toured important Italian cities from 2020 to 2023, among which; Milan, Rome, Naples, Trieste, Torino, etc., illustrating each exhibition with a catwalk of its Mexican brand Enamoramex. In this exhibition, the designer recreated Frida's costumes used in her self-portraits, a great cultural work in collaboration with the artisans of the ZAPOTEC ethnic group IN THE ISTHMUS OF TEHUANTEPEC OAXACA MEXICO. She also exhibited her capsule collection of evening dresses inspired by Frda Kalho throughout the exhibition.
The designer with 20 years of experience creating wedding dresses in Mexico, today proposes herself as a BRIDAL DESIGNER IN ITALY, making her creations in collaboration with Italian dressmakers as well as with Mexican workshops that offer sources of employment to Mexican women in need.
It's worth mentioning that her atelier in Mexico is focused on social sustainability, promoting young talent by collaborating with emerging designers from around the world. Ancheita's atelier is progressively aligning itself with environmental sustainability, utilizing green energy from solar panels and utilizing recycling, refurbishing, and reusing materials in some of its processes to benefit the ecosystem. In fact, she created a special rental clothing line called SUSTAINABILITY BY ANCHEITA to contribute to reducing global textile waste.
This 2025 Ancheita presents her garments at Milan Fashion Week at the prestigious event WELLNESS FOR YOU FASHION and in the USA at GLOBAL COUTURE US as a special guest designer, also holding shootings and conferences in New York City among others.
